My love of fashion finds its roots in my interactions with my mother. A corporate executive by day, and an ancient Greek fashionista by night. She confidently wore such a wide array of styles and garments, with each coming together in such a unique and considered manner. Yet, more than anything, my mother has an unparalleled sense of style. She looked just as beautiful wearing thrifted outfits in her youth as a poor university student, as she does now with a closet overflowing with designer garments and shoes. Thus, she embodied the truth universally acknowledged in the world of fashion: No amount of money can buy style, regardless of how talented the designer.
